Had to demolish my old shed,Which was an eyesore as well as a death trap. Its was build over a hole about 12' x 10' and 6-8" deep.

What is the cheapest way of filling said hole? I am planning on building another shed in its place

Any ideas?

why fill it in when you could turn it into a wine/beer cellar?

Dig another hole nearby. If that hole then needs filling in, dig another one....

Support the floor joists of the new shed on pillars of bricks/breeze blocks. This leaves a big gap underneath for airflow to prevent the floor rotting. Also encourages wildlife by providing nesting space for rats, mice, spiders, snakes, hedgehogs, foxes, wombats etc etc.

Seems to have been the case!

I think the best idea is the breeze blocks/Bricks to support the new frame

brick surround and concrete in the middle will then support your nice new shed properly.

All great until they think the shed is better and eat/gnaw/chew/smashe their way into it
