Any plans on going air to air intercooling to save some weight?
that's what im doing on my car in the next few months, using an RS500 intercooler fed by two 4" ducts into a plenum with blows out under the rear wing, bit like a noble, will only have up to 370bhp to cool though so not close to 600bhp like this car, but with the amount of plumbing this car had it would be a nice weight saving, saying that it has so much power he could easily make up the 200kg more than my car.deltaV said:
But thanks for all the positive comments Nice to see that people like it.
Cant deny your skills and experience with 3D modelling tools and the technology available in terms of the machinery.
With the right tools almost anything is possible. 3D printing next
I didn't notice your rates on your website, presumably because you don't charge a flat rate in design/manufacture, but how's a guy to know how far out of our budget you are
The case study mule is a bit of a weapon though. Good work.

lol no doubt.
For those outside the inner friends circle it's interesting to understand with the aim of understanding if custom work can be budgeted for if/when a part is required to be made.
Darren could/would do a custom part if required for anyone I guess, but it always comes down to cost, time to design/copy then program the machine plus the cost of materials, it all adds up!For those outside the inner friends circle it's interesting to understand with the aim of understanding if custom work can be budgeted for if/when a part is required to be made.
Our relationship is mutually beneficial, I get a car I couldn't hope to afford to build and Darren gets to drive a car he can't (at the moment) afford to own. It's a win win for both of us, although I bet we'd both argue who gets the stty end of the stick! He has put a huge amount of hours into this car so I'd give him the win (lose) !
Marc.
Quick trip to spa on Monday, very successful day, we only broke an expansion tank cap!

Did anything get past you?
When I was driving yes! When Darren was driving no. Did anything get past you?
When I went out with him in the morning he came up behind two V10 R8's, I though he was doing well to keep up, turns out they were holding him up, once past it was bye R8 too.
It's currently 'only' running circa 520bhp at the moment, turned the wick down to keep it reliable.
