No matter what you do though, keep on posting pictures and updating this thread.
Off to spa in June so I'm sure there will be plenty to post about!

Any plans on going air to air intercooling to save some weight?

All rear air supply is taken, so nothing left to feed an intercooler. Plus what we have works well. Intercooler would be starting again and no guarantee it would work as well at this power level

Very impressive how light the car is for the power, I've done a lot to make my noble light including making every panel in carbon and I'm still 140kgs heavier with fuel.

Looks well poised and easy to drive on track so job done :-)

that's what im doing on my car in the next few months, using an RS500 intercooler fed by two 4" ducts into a plenum with blows out under the rear wing, bit like a noble, will only have up to 370bhp to cool though so not close to 600bhp like this car, but with the amount of plumbing this car had it would be a nice weight saving, saying that it has so much power he could easily make up the 200kg more than my car.

Cant deny your skills and experience with 3D modelling tools and the technology available in terms of the machinery.

With the right tools almost anything is possible. 3D printing next smile

I didn't notice your rates on your website, presumably because you don't charge a flat rate in design/manufacture, but how's a guy to know how far out of our budget you are hehe

The case study mule is a bit of a weapon though. Good work.

I really don't want to know his hourly rate as he will constantly remind me how much I owe him ! wink

lol no doubt. biggrin

For those outside the inner friends circle it's interesting to understand with the aim of understanding if custom work can be budgeted for if/when a part is required to be made. smile

Darren could/would do a custom part if required for anyone I guess, but it always comes down to cost, time to design/copy then program the machine plus the cost of materials, it all adds up!
Our relationship is mutually beneficial, I get a car I couldn't hope to afford to build and Darren gets to drive a car he can't (at the moment) afford to own. It's a win win for both of us, although I bet we'd both argue who gets the stty end of the stick! He has put a huge amount of hours into this car so I'd give him the win (lose) !

Marc.

When I was driving yes! When Darren was driving no.
When I went out with him in the morning he came up behind two V10 R8's, I though he was doing well to keep up, turns out they were holding him up, once past it was bye R8 too.
It's currently 'only' running circa 520bhp at the moment, turned the wick down to keep it reliable.
