Ashamed to admit that I haven't got either the Camper or the Mini as was hoping someone would offer a deal on buying the two together.

So far it hasn't happened!!

Not sure if this is allowed and please delete if it is not.

I have got sets 42008 and 42009 which i am selling. Thought I would post them up on here before sticking them on eBay as iIt may be of interest to some of you guys.
Both have boxes and manuals but all the parts for b models have been mixed up between spares for these two the unimog and the f1 car. Will send all the spares in one package

I dont know if anyone has noticed, but John Lewis Technic LEGO is very well priced indeed and loads in stock!

For example Service Truck 42008 is £74.99

Mobile Crane 42009 is £112.76 (showing out of stock on web, but was in a store tonight and they have plenty of them)

Looking for a Quad Bke - esqe sized set for my 7 year old for Christmas. The Quads go for about £35 on EBay, which seems a bit steep for what they are. Any other suggestions at around the £30 mark for a nice set? Ta.

Thanks, looks good. Is there a standard option to motorise it, or is it DIY? Either way it looks a decent model.

Hopefully this fits in here - I'm after peoples opinions/experiences with the Lego Mindstorm set. Looks like a fun way to learn some programming/basic robotics, and there are some interesting projects out there that look like they would be fun and satisfying to build.

Does anyone here have one?

It's usually January and August for new releases.

You are so weak. I like that! It may be the next model for my Son's Birthday.

My Mum has bought him the Snowspeeder 'normal' lego model too!

The lad didn't get any Lego for Christmas, all relatives assumed someone else would get some, result, nobody got him any...

So a trip to Argos yesterday and a few hours at the dining table had got us this far-

It's been years since I built anything this size, and it's awesome! Really impressed with the gearbox and PTO system so far.

The various airfix models he got from me (or for me...?) haven't had a look in yet though!

Ok so it's not Technic but I have spent the last couple of days with my daughter building the Simpsons Lego House, it's quite detailed but enjoying the build!

Anyone else had to assist their sons/daughters with the Simpsons house?
