I've said before, so I'll say it again. That is exactly how to spec' a Griff' interior. Spot on!

Yes .. you did say it before , 2 years ago ... So I guess you feel really strongly about it smile . But I'm glad you are still of the same opinion smile .

yup, I do as so many cars have been ruined by in correctly specced interiors. Sometimes you look at a car and think, 'that looks great', or you look at a similar car and think, ' that's nice'. It's subliminal yet bleedin' obvious but can't put your finger on why?
The option gave by Peter Wheeler [rip] was a double edge blade. as some got it right and yet many more got it wrong. Hope those having their cars re-trimmed get it right. wink
as for wheels? don't get me started on that. Original specced interiors or after market mods' have to be subtle otherwise they look shyte. hippy
Glad someones paying attention. thumbup
The two year ago thing made me smile.

Holy thread resurrection! Thank you for your kind words once again Mac wink

Was a long time ago I had the stainless dash in mine, now back to the original walnut burr and have a nardi steering wheel.

Some of the nicest trimmed cars that will also age with a nice Patina are the cars that have been trimmed in one colour and even no piping i think IMOP the the Quality of the Materials used and the right Trimmer are what makes the whole package.
Mixing materials such as swade or the other stuff with leather leaves you with products that age and wear at different rates look at the Astons and jags and even MGs that still have original quality leather interiors that have been maintained well they are stunning.
i saw the yellow modern Tuscan that was trimmed in all black no piping and the same quality leather that we used on my 69 SE car and it just looked Classy and yes i know some in the TVR world dont want Classy but want over the top.
But i strongly think a £4000 to £5000 re trim in simple one colour with the best quality leather you can find is an investment if the car is to live on and still be admired in 20 years time i saw some leather a frien had ordered for a clients car at £600 a hide it was stunning and like a good quality case will age with style
