Good luck to them! Nice to see a team improve like they have and take a few scalps.

I'm a Chelsea fan and liked Gus Poyet when he was with us so am pleased to see him doing so well for Brighton.

I was at the Blackpool and P'boro games. The stadium, the team, the manager, good times!

Hey we may not be where we are now later on but I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts biggrin

Some great signings and, more pertinently, some existing players coming good (Dunk, Bridcutt and Noone spring to mind).

With Southampton doing well, it's a south coast invasion of the Championship (only Portsmouth didn't seem to get the memo biggrin)

Friend of mine is a big Seagulls fan and I will be coming to a game with him when i'm down from Manchester. Harveys beer is awesome and the fact it's on tap there is an even better reason for coming biggrin

In Gus we trust.

Nice to see the Albion getting a little section all of their own. Absolutely flying at the moment - this is normally the part of the season when I'm telling friends that I won't even think of looking at a league table until Christmas!

As well as the Harveys you have the in house pies which are already making a name for themselves.

Well, despite being a lifelong Chelsea fan, as I work in Brighton, and have many friends with season tickets, I do follow their news/results, so I'll chuck a post in to add this thread to my watch list.

Seagulls for the title thumbup (just wish their feathered brethren would stop crapping on my car though!)

Excellent ! That'll give us a bit more depth in mid-field.

Looking forward to seeing him in action at Ashton Gate on 10th. Anyone else going?

Even from a neutral perspective, it is a fair old wow. I would have thought that the lower end of the Prem might have made a move, if they knew he was available.
He's had a terrible time with injuries (a real shame TBH) and isn't at the moment the player he was (obviously). However, if things go ok, I think he's from the honest pro school and I suspect he could do a good job (if up to the rough of lower league English football). That may be from the point of looking to rebuild for one last contract with a top division club, but so what?

Derby night tonight! Pity I can't make it frown

Gus will have sorted defensive frailties after the Leeds game. As long as we play the 1st half like we play the 2nd half (Leeds & Liverpool) we'll do well. Harley & Hoskins back off injury I think, so squad looking good. First start for Vicente? (with Harley replacing after 60m if we're doing well?)

That said, anything can happen in these type of games.
