CV for school go-er

What does one put on a CV for a school go-er/leaver?
This is to get their first job, so no previous experience, just education up to NVQ.
I was thinking, something like:
Personal statement
Education (detailed)
Outside school projects
Reference details
All in all, I can't see it being more than a A4 page. not a problem, but its a hard thing to write, considering he can't sell his previous experience.

No but if s/he participates in things like Duke of Edinburgh, Scouts, organising charitable events, football team captain, organising the socials for school year etc, all of these show some skills above an otherwise plain CV. Anything that demonstrates some sort of responsibility and adherence to deadline are all useful to some degree.
How would you tackle X, Y, Z situation if you came to work for me?
Don't know I have never worked.
Or would a better answer be - I don't have direct expereince but I had a similar situation when I was leading a hike on a Scout trip. Our problem was X I suggested Y and we got to Z result.
Which one shows some common sense, logical thought process and pragmatism.

We have a few through here (Commodities Trading) every year and they are advised by their school to keep a diary of their time and add this into their CV when applying for jobs.

He sounds like he needs to get off his ass and go and get some experience! so far you have described him as a lazy bugger who sits on his computer all day and cant think for himself! he needs to join some sort of club or organisation or maybe do some charity work.Edited by MonkeyMatt on Tuesday 30th August 17:26

I was doing a paper round at 13, and working in the shop by the time I was 14! Getting nearly £200 cash per week at 14 was quite something!
I'd suggest the CV just needs to be absolutely immaculate in terms of presentation. Profile (ambition's, aspirations etc) and Education will be the 2 most important things on there.
