Has anyone attended the show in previous years?
Any good and how well is the event represented by the major brands?

The show is good and excluding travel represents good value for money. Major brands ?? This is a High end show with lots of big £££ cost items mainly from specialist suppliers. Note Linn, Naim, Quad, B & W , Marantz etc. who have attended in previous years are not there. No Absolute sounds either. That said I would recommend the Howes and Music First rooms, and would like to hear the Burmester and McIntosh rooms. Should be an interesting day/weekend and a chance to hear and see some interesting options. Too many of the great names missing no Yoshino/EAR , no Pink, no Avantgarde.
I've heard the 1/4 wave Voigt's (Howes) that will be at Music First (very impressive) and am looking forward to the "Memory" corner Horns. Designed originally in 1934 I am told this will be the first public demonstration of a stereo pair !
Last year there were also a motoring audio display, Bentley, Porsche etc.
