Hello there, my name is Robert Sykes, I’m 19 years old and I’ve just finished 3 years at college: BTEC 1st Diploma, BTEC National Award and BTEC National Diploma, all in Motorsport Engineering to an overall Grade DDD (Top mark), At The College of West Anglia, Wisbech.
I’m posting today regarding work experience within the motorsport industry; I had applied for a Foundation Degree in Motorsport Engineering, however due to lack of interest the course has been cancelled. I don’t want to lose touch with Motorsport so I need to keep on gaining experience, either as help at the trackside or any work as part time. I love Ginetta cars and I was wondering if there are any teams who would like to offer me the chance to work on cars I love, from G20's right up to the Big boys..
If anyone needs any extra help with their racing please contact me as I’m happy to take a any experience as I possibly can, I am a hands on person but i can also stand back and take a lead role if required. I have a full, clean, UK drivers licence and i have just got my Passport. I live in Benwick near Peterborough and I’m willing to travel.
I have gained a lot of experience with Formula Fords and I’m building my knowledge on a Radical ClubSport and i'm getting involved with higher level motorsport.
