After reading a few reviews i just want to know real peoples opinions in theses, i'm thinking a buying one but would be nice to hear/read what you think of this tv.
Mainly :
hows the SD,
is the HD good?
and is the 3D worth it? it will probly be rarly used but since the ps3 now offers that feature i may buy the odd bluray/game with the 3D feature?

anything i should be aware of that the tv performs badly at?

also is plasma better than led for 3D? should i save a few more pennies and buy led

at the moment the tv is on sale at what i think is a good price..

thanks for your time

Hi I bought one a couple of months ago, paid £700 for it so the Richer Sounds deal looks good. However, I did get a Panasonic 5 year warranty with mine together with 5 3D Blue Ray Disks and 2 pairs of 3D Glasses and for an extra £100 I got a 5.1 Blue Ray 3D Cinema system which was a discount of £300 of RRP.

I am really pleased with ours, it replaced a broken Panny PZ70 in our bedroom. The picture quality looks very good to me especially in comparison to the PZ70 it replaced. I use a V+ box so can't comment on the SD picture quality but I am more than pleased with the picture from cable.

I am really impressed with the 3D feature, we were given a 3D Blue Ray copy of Avatar and it does look very impressive in 3D, but the glasses can be a bit of a pain to wear after a while.

thanks for the reply, luckily i have a 3d player via the ps3 and surround sound system, just missing a decent tv.

another quick question, how loud is the fan noise, i've read at low volumes you notice it, always had lcd so never had fans in the tv. is it much of a distraction/irritaition?

I haven't noticed any issues with fan noise, it is certainly quieter than the other 2 plasma screens that we have at home.
