Hello
i have recently bought a 1990 silver spirit II but don't have any service history with it.I have all the old MOT's so i know that the milage is correct, but is there any way of finding out about the service history ?
I spoke to the previous owner but he was no help so any advice you might have would great

You may want to speak to the RREC as well as the factory to see if they have any further details on your car smile the good thing about not having a service history, is that at least you know it hasnt been faked!

Hope you have as much fun in yours as I've had in most of mine smile

You're going to struggle with that one, AFAIK the service records back then were not 'networked' within a manufacturers national database/server, as is the case with say BMW or Mercedes (within the dealer network only, obviously).

The best you could do is call the garages who did the MOT's and see if they recall also doing any service work on the car, and if they can check their records if they have any. The other thing is to contact the DVLA and get a list of previous keepers and see if they of are any help. Providing they haven't moved since, or chucked everything away that didn't go with the car anyway.

Alternatively, for a fee, I could possibly provide you with a FSH hehe
