No wonder my Rangers supporting mate is losing it! Surely it is time to close the whole sorry mess down and start again? Very sad day for football if that happened but at least it would get rid of the vultures. Anny input as to why the board stopped the American buy out? I see the fat hand of Cashley involved in that one
I've not seen it, but i've heard that Chuckles Green was on Sky Sports news tonight, filmed lying (In more ways than one) in a hospital bed greeting.
Sounds almost as bad as his christmas message he did a few years back.

I never thought I'd see the day when I felt sorry for Rangers fans but here we are.
I hope the club somehow gets this bunch of vultures out of the business and back to a properly run football club.
What makes you think it was ever properly run in the first place?I hope the club somehow gets this bunch of vultures out of the business and back to a properly run football club.
Debt, tax fraud, sectarian signing policies...

If you had put as much effort into looking after your own club as you do hating celtic.....
Still, it's not like you were warned about every single thing that happened , eh?
My favourite bit was when you all marched on the BBC for broadcasting

The rest of Scottish football would quite happily see Hampden swallowed in a giant sinkhole on the 1st.

Everyone has debt, and that's alleged tax fraud...
No, it's proven tax fraud (Wee Tax Case) and most SPFL clubs are now debt free. Scottish football is in its healthiest state since the 1980s.Edited by GloverMart on Wednesday 21st January 07:59
Why oh why they never played their youth from day one in division 3 is beyond me.
From then onwards it was out of control.
Gretna managed it with 300 fans a week. Fling in a few decent first division players and your sorted with a mature youth team when you get to the first division.
Its simply a farce, they are rotten to the core full of freeloaders who are sucking the genuine fans dry. How you can be on the brink of collapse with 30,000 punters coming through the door is beyond me. Even in the premier league let alone the championship.
I do have sympathy for the real fans. But then when I hear the typical Rangers fan from falkirk who supportos Rangers because their a fickle and doesnt even turn on the game when there playing on the tele I have a little smile.
All the complaining, as a Falkirk fan who's not missed a game home or away in 15 years, who's seen my club go bust, denied promotion twice, once after winning the league, being forced to leave our ground with atmosphere to a concrete st hole my sympathy isn't really there.
They were informed just how hard life can be down in the lower leagues for years but never thought twice about the good of the game.
Scottish football needs a shake up from top to bottom. Too many people have a vested interest. And fans are fed up debating the blatantly obvious year after year. It's going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

Debt free reeks of a lack of ambition to me.
This post reeks of retard to me.To expand: it might be disconcerting that so many clubs have decided against borrowing money to improve their futures. Not necessarily a good thing.

Instead they chose to pay players, many of whom were way past their best, inflated salaries. Paying players 400-500k a year to play against part-time opponents was madness.

After all that you have been through, after all the money wasted you still don't get it??????????
Money. Is. Bad. For. Football.
EPl, flooded with cash, English football is on it's arse.
Late 1990's Scottish football has an ITV contract and more cash than ever, what did you get? Hans Eskilsson and Paul Bernard but no kids.
Unfortunately the idiots in-charge of the clubs in t the UK aren't mature enough to get the German way of both having money and spending it on the future.
Scottish football is thriving on Peter Pawlett, Stuart Armstrong and Kenny McLean while Ian Black and Kris Boyd satisfies your cravings and keeps your lot in the doldrums.

Dutch footballer Fernando Ricksen played for Rangers for six seasons between 2000 and 2006, becoming popular at the club for his abrasive and aggressive style of play. Naturally, he was disliked at Celtic Park for the same reason.
In October 2013, he was diagnosed with the devastating ALS or motor neurone disease. He recently made an emotional return to Ibrox.
This Sunday sees a tribute match take place in aid of Ricksen. And now Celtic Football Club have donated 10,000 towards the match, with proceeds to be split evenly between Ricksen and MND Scotland. Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawell discussed the donation today.
We are pleased to be able to make a donation which will assist both Fernando’s family and MND Scotland.
At Celtic, unfortunately we are all too familiar with MND and its devastating effects. Jimmy Johnstone, the man voted Celtic’s greatest ever player, fought bravely against this illness as did former player John Cushley, someone who gave so many years’ service to the Club.
We would like also to take this opportunity to send our thoughts and best wishes to Fernando and his family.
