No other similarities either. Wound up for £1.2M? Pfft, we'd have spent that on lunch.

Even the chairman of Hereford FC is honest enough to call them a "phoenix club" http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hereford-worces...

Legally they weren't allowed to use the same team name either. They had to change to Hereford FC rather than the Hereford United they were called previously.

The case sounds identical to Rangers. The outcome and handling aren't quite the same though.

I log in, the thread is at the top of my page. It was relevant with Hereford playing their first game the other day and it making the news. I had not long read about it.

I thought it was a fair point how both clubs, in identical circumstances, have two completely seperate set of rules to follow.

The FA don't need Hereford, so aren't bothered if they go. Normal ruled applied.

The SFA are too scared to lose Rangers and the finances they put into the SFA, so they break the rules to assist.

Let's not kid ourselves Technodup, deep down you know what liquidation should(does) mean.

It was pretty impressive that so many supporters turned up for Hereford.

They appear to be embracing the new start, getting their heads down and their is no pretence over the situation.

The irony being that's probably partly how you found yourselves in financial turmoil. hehe

Of course you don't care but that is why you are now supporting a new club with no history!

Understandable, after all, if it goes financially tits up again you can just press ctrl, alt, delete and start again with another new club.

Warberton still plugging away looking for new players. He seems to be more cautious about players than managers of old which is refreshing to see.

More examples of amazing Scottish football fans rolleyes

No doubt they'll all claim their Twitter accounts were hacked and get off with it, meanwhile if a Rangers fans sings a song, he's sent to jail.

The Republic of Scotland, don't you just love it?

I absolutely detest that kind of behavioir from fans.

It always amazes me how one set of fans get deeply offended when the other says something, yet they've never got an issue of dishing it out themselves.

The reaction after Kirk Broadfoot was banned for 10 games springs to mind.

I wouldn't even embarrass the people, and myself, by linking some of those threads.

I can see why the Hibs fans are upset at Rangers offering peanuts, and still trying to finance the deal, to buy one of their better players.

It still doesn't merit their comments.

There is pond life that support every team. It's best to ignore them and not give them a platform. Certainly not on a car forum.

2013ZetecS, I thought you were banned from this thread anyway as the moderator wasn't happy with all your complaining to them?

You've not posted anything anywhere else on PH. You just come in and complain about what other fans are doing and have completely ignored and excused anything that was done by your own team.

This is an open forum for a bit of banter and discussion.

I think you'd be better staying on Rangers specific forums.

Another positive result and display from the Teddy Bears today.

The difference under Warburton is unreal. Quick tempo and passing out from the back. Those at Ibrox today were loving it.
