Clutch slip?

I have a Cooper S JCW and I'm pretty sure its got some clutch slip, as opposed to a charismatic of the car. I only seem to notice it in 2nd and 3rd, when coming off the clutch the car seems to rev higher that it feels like it should pull and then 'catches' the car and you it goes faster.

In the 'slip' it still pulls well, its just that the revs feel like they go too high. Also, the pedal is very still and the biting point is high.
