Just ordered all the service parts for the car and now had to buy a front strut with air spring as they dont sell them seperately. Just came out one morning and she was on the floor.

But have a question. I've just seen a same model '07 with doors that auto close if they're not shut correctly. Now mine has never done that and so far I hadnt seen this before. Is this something that the dealers can switch on or off on software.

What software are you guys using for diagnosics?

Well finally got to the bottom of my small problems. Turns out the fuel pumps arent working as they shouuld and need to be replaced. Also found out that the car is indicating body control module problems front and rear. Anyone know what these things are?
The dealers did a reset as sometimes these things happen with a discharged battery.

I just curious to know what they control!

BCM's tend to be the central control module / hub for the none running gear electronics, that all the other smaller controllers connect to . . . . . for example the Window controllers and the seat controllers of other VW's have very little in the way of circuitry and the functionality & error reporting is controlled by the BCM
