Anyone know if the digital speedo on a 1997 UK 993tt can be switched to read KPH?

U cant do it on the 1996[September] GT2 model but believe it all became possible later ,sorry dont know when? Was quoted aprox £750 for new unit !
If u find a way i wud be grateful to learn.

There is a company called Reap Design (or Reap Automotive Design) that will re-spray the facia of your spedo to MPH if you need to show mph on a LHD spedo. THey charge £80, I have had it done an it is a beautiful bit of work so suggest you do this - unless you are a fan of the LED display.

respraying the speedo isn't what I want. I want an MPH speedo (which I have) but a switchable digital display from MPH to KPH and vice versa. I had this on my Boxster S.
