You tell me when I'll be there, with some Fizzy stuff, in fact look forward to it.

Long time since Gibraltar all those years ago !

Why do i now have an image in my mind of Mick going off to check / refurb the seacocks. This involves replacing them with nice custom bronze pieces that he polishes to a mirror like shine, and replaces the nasty metal lever with a nice teak piece hehe

Do you mean these? No teak handles though. Only the best quality bronze don't you know... I like something substantial to put my foot against, if needs be biggrin
Note the flush fitting skin fittings. I want Svip to be as slippery as a fish! wink

Hello shipmates! Did you think my project had stalled again?
Oh no, we've been busy. wink The toe rail is finally done smile
I'm going to leave it raw, as varnish will make it slipy to stand on/walk along when heeled.

Thanks for looking,
Mick smile

It is looking so good Mick.
I really hope that I can go see Svip IRL some day.

I love raw teak as a finish but would probably give it a treatment of a boron based coverage. It stops any nasties growing underneath or in the stainless fitments.

She looks so much better than when new to me at a glance, looking forward to seeing her in the flesh so to speak, nice one.

Thanks folks smile

I've had a look at the Boracol 10Y, and ironically it's originally a Danish product, but I can't buy it from the webpage, they only send to Belgium or Holland.
It's a good idea, but I think I have seen similar products, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for something off the shelf here.

Just find a dry rot treatment firm locally Mick and they should carry it.
