Early reports suggest it will be an Indian based challenge:

Wow, they really do have a sound man with a fake arm as seen in one of those double decker car challenges (top pic)!

You lose quite a bit of bootspace due to the spare wheel in that Jag, don't you?

Does anyone know if they're going anywhere else in India on the trip?

3 Classic British cars in India? Interesting.

Although I wonder if they are aware that there are other options apart from the XJS? I think this makes number 4 used in challenges/features.

Kiff the one armed sound man - he has his own appreciation group on Facebook!

Well, I managed to track them down in their hotel at the weekend, got to chat to Hammond, May and the big JC. Spoke to JC for a while whilst they were setting up a shot, first time I've ever met the guy and he's a top chap. Spoke about engineering-y stuff, why in God's name I was living in India, and how mental the driving is here.

Most of them had heard about the driving, but had no clue it was so bad.

I tried to be very British about it all, they seemed to be tiring after all their time in India being badgered by Indians who couldn't speak very good English and were taking photo after photo. So I decided to play it cool and not ask for a photo, which I think helped somewhat.

For those who don't want to see some pictures, I've hidden them in a Spoiler tag:

They were at the visual modifcation stage, as can be seen below. JC has the XJS, May the Roller and of course, Hammond the Mini. Also note the Allegro which is the backup car.

Then they went to a tuning shop north of Delhi and made some mods, such as this:

hehe

Should be a giggle to watch.

It's a challenge, not a punishment! hehe

Love Mumbai! Had quite an adventure going to Ghandi national park in a taxi. There was 4 of us. Turned out when we got there they had moved it into the city, not far from the port gate! The railway station is stunning.

It's a repeat, if that's what you mean.
