Monday evening's 4.30 to 7.00, Drive time with Ade and Stevie Bee!! Saint FM coming to you live from Burnham!!

We did a trial show last week and a second test this Monday and they have confirmed we're now regular presenters and we have full editorial control of content (within reason).

It's only a little community radio station but with big ambitions but hey - we're in!

Small the station maybe but they use similar systems to mainstream stations and if you ever thought radio was people just playing music and chatting, well, you'd be right but it's anything from simple. Everything has to be timed to the second, some songs that you think will work well sound terrible and you have to think about the listener profile and the economics.

For example, by announcing a popular song before an ad break means more people listen to the ads and not drift away to another station.

Also, every song the station plays, they have to pay a licence fee. The older the song, the less the fee so we're encouraged to blend the old with the new.

We have planned a regular feature that will start next month called "Quite Interesting People" so if you live in or around South East Essex and are quite interesting, then get in touch and we'll get you in as a guest!

(And before you start, I've had all the Alan Partridge and Smashy and Nicey stuff from them in doors already :-)

Well done, shame I don't live in Essex, or get up early enough to catch you on the internet, but I wish you well. Please become successful, we need some decent radio stars in this country.

Yep, there's a listen live button on http://www.saintfm.co.uk/

Going to give PH a mention somehow - can't do next week but will give you the nod here when I can.

As for royalties, don't know the exact figures but I believe they are charged in pence rather than pounds.

Nice one. I used to be on the radio several years ago in the south east and still have friends in the industry, if you need any hints/advice/contacts let me know.

Best of luck with it!

Cheers Matt. If you have any pointers to good video tutorials on Myriad, that would be very handy!

At the moment, Burnham on Crouch with an 'official' catchment area of the Dengie Peninsular but reaches as far as Wickford, Danbury and Southern fringes of Colchester depending upon weather.

New studio planned for Maldon in the new year.

Well, we've got a chap coming in soon to chat about the Blue Light Off Road Club - a splinter group of the Met Police Motor Club but based locally - that organise off road bike and car events all over the place - just back from the Pyrenees, off to Morocco next year. Funny and very interesting chap.

In fact, looking at your website - I'm going to PM you as I think you two need to be introduced!!

Ahh, Myriad is before my time. It was all RCS / Selector / DCS / EncoDAD in my time.
