Not sure if anyone can help. A colleague of mine is over in the Netherlands right now. His car has had all 4 tyres slashed. It's in a garage and they want €1600 for 4 Michelin tyres!!!

That is crazy. In the UK they are £200 each maximum!

Are tyres in the Netherlands that expensive, is he being taken for a ride. At that price, I can send 4 over to him from the UK.

The tyres are 255/55/18 on a 4x4.

fitting etc, disposal of old ones, shouldn't be more than 50 or 60 euro, surely?
