Evenin all.

Can someone point me in the direction of a box of tricks that'll give me another optical input. I've got a sky+ box, xbox and pc all with optical out but only 2 inputs on my amp.

Any links to specific devices would be great.

Budget is iro £0.12p.

Cheers

First one I found was this:-

But then I found it here:-

You have to manually switch inputs however.

12p! Well if you have some black insulation tape around and a spare optical lead then you can do it for free! Tape the ends together in a Y configuration and its job done, messy but it works wink

Does the amp have a digital co-ax input? And any of the devices have a co-ax output? Might be the easiest solution.

Or you can get a co-ax to optical converter. Will that work? They are not too expensive.

I bought one of those manual switch things for £2.50 off ebay, cheers.

Amp does have spare digital coax in's but Xbox/Freesat box are optical out unfortunately.

Thought about an optical to coax convertor but it's only going to be for occasional Xboxing so the manual switch for a couple of quid seems the best solution.

Thanks.
