Some time ago I did ask as to where I could take my little amp for a well deserved service/overhaul. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the addresses offered so can anyone can recommend a good Company please, preference is East Anglia region.

Thanks oola, in the end I decided to have a go myself and see if I couldn't resolve the problem which was in the main the volume control creating unwanted fluffing noise when used.
Took the top off to reveal 25 years of fluff/dirt/crud, carefully used a soft clean brush and vacuum cleaner to remove same. Then used liberal quantity of electrical cleaner over entire internals paying special attention to the circular volume control interior. Once dried I plugged it all back together and gave it a try - hey presto, it works like it was new again! Very satisfying and saved myself a few quid too. But thanks again for the info' you posted.

Thanks for this. Bought my Nad back in 1985 so shall be giving it a clean. Still in service as my main amp as well as giving my new Panny plasma a helping hand with sound.

Can't beat a NAD! at least in its price bracket. Good luck with the clean up, nice small soft brush and take your time, nice and gently. Good quality electrical contact cleaner and let it completely dry before switch on. Let us know how it goes.smile

You're welcome, but well done!
