I'm safe from temptation so far, but if they released a GT3 i'd have to give in.

Honestly it would not take much of a push at all for me to get back into this. When i was a young teen i had the attic in my parents house done out with a terrific layout.

All models made, painted and weathered by me and a pal with landscapes and people etc. It was the dirtiest layout around. It was on fixed boards and we had to crawl under to service holes to reach the far side to re rail crashes etc.

But things happen, i grew up and new interests came along and life took over. The complete set was sold a long time ago and it stings greatly when i see the prices of stuff now and i would even say it was foolish to get rid. It would be a considerable sum to replace and probably out of the question in relation to how much i would use it nowadays. There was in the region of 60 loco engines alone.

then again... what could it hurt if i get just a little oval of track with a tranny going and pick up a loco or 08 shunter off ebay...maybe a few sidings and points and a couple of coal wagons... oh crap!!! <Must resist!!
