Hello, looking for a bit of help. I have the 42g20 and have just updated the firmware which has given me the new vista connect software, I was led to believe that this gives access to the BBC iplayer service but cannot find it. Has this not yet been released for vista connect or is it recognising the fact that I have last years model and not giving me the option.

Any advice as to how to get the service greatly appreciated.

Iplayer is not on there. Iplayer is only available on the G20 via Freesat. This can then be accessed through the red button when on any bbc channel and selecting iplayer (only through freesat mind, not freeview)

Used to have freesat but changed to sky which uses all my inputs have been looking at a 6 lnb but was hoping this would negate the need.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected as couldnt be too sure if I was just missing where it was.

BBC iPlayer on Freesat is on channel 901. You may be able to tune a Sky box to get that channel.

I doubt it as you would also need the software installed to initialise the channel and an ethernet port to download the content.
