Superfi have an offer on currently on the Wharfedale flat panel speaker system.

Does anyone have any experience with these? They come as a package of 2 flat panels and an active subwoofer.

Due to a change around in my living room, i fancy losing my floorstanders and going down a more discreet route.

Been around for years now, never really took of.
Half decent if you're not being all audiophillic about it.
Will depend on expectations and what you're coming from already.

I currently have some Celestion F20 floor standers running from a Cambridge Audio A5 amp. I only really listen to music occasionally and never very loudly.

I'm afraid that only your ears can determine whether they are suitable for you.

They are ok for what they are, mate a set 8 years ago....... BUT you'll notice the diff between them and you floorstanders....... and probably a lot better sound can be had for not a lot more money from a more modren descrete speaker system,

What other kind of discrete speakers are there, book shelf speakers? This kinds of defeats the object as you have to put them on stands to get them to ear level.

My mate had these in his newly built apartment a few years ago as part of his 5.1 system.
They were pretty good for his home cinema set-up.
