Z4 M Roadster & Stage 3 VX220 Turbo
Discussion
Hi,
I was over at my dads house today cleaning my Z4 M Roadster and thought I'd get his VX220 Turbo out of hibernation, run it up and give it a quick clean. Unfortunately, but the time I'd finished it was nearly dark, so my photos are pants, but you get the idea!!
Mine...
2006 Z4 M 3.2 Roadster, standard with 30,000 miles. My weekend car
My dads
2003 Vauxhall VX220 Turbo. Tuned to stage 3 with a Courtney Sport charge cooler, stage 3 remap, custom made exhaust (loud and poppy!), panel air filter, uprated Spitfire rear droplinks, uprated brake pads, but otherwise standard drivetrain. Next modification will be wheels, tyres, brakes and suspension. It needs a bit of paint doing, but is otherwise in good order. It's not used much, less than 20,000 on the clock. Been SORN for 2 years now and brought out the garage and driven round the garden a few times of the year. Unfortunately a big house move, and lots of DIY work on the new house has meant no time to get it on the road, but it will be on the road soon.

how big is your garden?
Ha ha! Pretty huge. It's my dads. My garden is tiny. The previous owner used to have a car body shop in a local industrial estate. He said he had 30 cars in his garden once! It's even got a small spray booth in one of the garages which we plan to get back up together. Oh, there's also this in the garden... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=101...danyeates said:

Z4M That pond
Cheers matey. The pond is stunning. A credit to its builder.
Not sure what happened to the front plate on the VX. It's always attached to the car when it's used. I think my dad took it off to clean it, it's just velcroed on.
Thanks for your comments. Must get them out in some daylight to get some better photos!
Thanks!
