Thought id stick this up as a few of you member may or may not be interested smile

After selling the E46 M3, i was in a bit of a pickle as to what to replace it with.

I thought of buying cheap Subarus or Evos, but the problem was finding a nice clean example of either is either troublesome or near on impossible. So i began looking at E36 M3 3.0's but as with the territory they have fallen into the hands of the wrong people and theres nothing but doses with jingling diffs and poor repairs.

Spotted this little beauty and it took my breath away. It is on another level of immaculate. A car that deserves the title of being such.

A 100% Genuine car with everything that it left the factory with still in place, even the plastic wrapping to the first aid kit, the dockets for alarm install, every document in place, every piece of paper accounted for and most importantly, every stamp in the book. And arches that are as rust and blemish free.

Its a completely different car than the E46. tigher driving, nicer turn in, a much more solid, sure footed car. So this proves there still are nice E36's out there. smile

Some (very poor) pictures below.

Mileage is at 90k, but believe me its like a 30k car. And has a full and comeplete stamped service history, which every piece of documentation.

Thanks all smile

I really love these, after owning 3 E36 M3's i feel i've not finished with them unless i have had one of these, i know people moan about it only being a colour change and some nice aero bits, but i still want one (quite badly). Bit hacked off that they fetch so much more than a standard one though.

So far im finding the car a much nicer car to drive.

Very hard to explain. The E46 M3 actually felt mass produced, very generic, softened down, the kind of car you gran could drive. This feels a lot more special, tighter, sleeker turn in, less (well what feels like) body roll.

And the seats, i could never get the seats just right in the E46, these are on another level of comfort and support.

Looks lovely. Your comments on the e46 vs e36 are interesting... I'm currently in a lowly e36 328 and have promised myself an e46 m3 as my next car: seems the logical upgrade. However now you've got me thinking a well looked after e36 could be the better choice..

i wouldnt bother. Yes its a nicer looking car, and a bit more updated and fresher. But if you look for the right E36, with the right options, itll be just as nice.

Check the register out
http://www.m3gtregister.com/m3evoindividual.html

I loved my GT2 and wish I never sold it, that went to Scotland, DVLA cocked the numberplate transfer up
and I lost my private plate.

You have got a great looking example.

That detailing thread was the first thing i thought of when i saw this. The attention to detail of that car was insanely high.
