Does this sound like a good price for a 2007 Cooper S?

Evening all.
Having toyed with the idea of an Alfa 147 GTA, I've now ditched the idea for the time being and decided to go for a Cooper S.
I've found one with 23500 miles, the Chili pack, upgraded alloys and er that's about it for £7800. It looks good in the pics. However I'm in Kent and the Mini's in Aberdeen. So really need to gauge if its worthwhile before making the trip.
Does this seem a good price? From what I can tell on Autotrader and the ads on here they're all over the place from about £7500 to £11kish.

It sounds a bit on the low side for me but providing it has got a remainder of TLC or XTLC then it is an added benefit. I'd be tempted to ask Mini to service check the vehicle as I know there have been some recalls on some items.

I'd say it's slightly too cheap for a dealer, maybe OKish for a private sale.
I've nicked a good. low mileage FSH car off an independent dealer for a ridiculous below-trade price last week, and sold the one it replaced for a very good price today. But I did not need to buy or sell with any urgency, which gave me an advantage both times (actually first viewer bought at FAP which surprised me as my sale was priced a bit heavy). If you go 700 miles, you will probably be weakening your negotiating position (well you would with me when you told me that you wanted to buy it).
Dealers have bills to meet regularly (which is I suspect how I got a good purchase) and private sellers encounter difficult circumstances and need to raise cash, so you could be lucky. But it is rather rare. How logn have they owned it, how many owners has it had - the first questions I will ask on the first call which I feel are as important as any other banter they might want to give me.
Deffo HPI it before you go and you might save yourself an airfare if it is Cat C/D. Let them know that you are coming a long way, you know your stuff and WILL spot faults and you want an honest, accurate description of the car - mechanically, car park dings / scrapes and all, major maintenance history (all non-consumables) - preferably in writing (email) from them so they cannot argue that you were told of something that you weren't. If the car is not as described, you either have negotiating points, or the hump and a plane ride home.
Although may be a cheap screen price, do not forget to add in the cost of going there into the price that it will really cost you to buy it and get it home compared to buying locally. Don't forget to do all the usual obvious stuff and properly check the accompanying paperwork / chassis numbers etc - a must if a car seems too good to be true.
On the other hand, you could just take a punt - but I wouldn't at that distance.
