What's wrong with my TV?

This past three weeks or so it hasn't liked turning on.

Normal process is press 'on' red light on TV flashes green then solid green and TV on.
Now it flashes red a few times then stays off. Sometimes 2 or 3 attempts and it will come on, other times its a case of just hold the remote button down till it turns on, usually a few minutes.

TV is a 4 year old LG 32 inch LCD.

Dont say things like that, I got a 4 year old LG LCD...
At a guess I would say it is power supply related, maybe failing and not enough power to start the telly.
