Any advice appreciated. A friend of mine works for a company on the verge of going into administration. It appears however, that the director is intending to take 4 staff from the 16 staff and continue with the viable part of the business. Effectively they will be walking away, leaving staff at current business with no redundancy packages and starting a new company producing one of the primary products that they currently sell.Is tupe law apllicable here and is there anything my mate can do? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a pre-pack, nothing to do with tupe and probably nothing he/she can do about it.
