I'm looking for a temporary job until early next year. I am based in Swindon and would like it to be associated with driving or the motor trade/industry.

I have secured a job with a company, but this starts early next year and i am getting really bored at home.

Anything, Anyone?

Well about all you can do is ring round potential employers and ask. Also try any temp agencies they may have something.

Spotted this http://www.driverhire.co.uk/Microsites/Swindon/Job... but I don't know if you're suitable although you could always see if they will take you on their books for anything else they may have.

You could see if your local post office sorting office is employing temp drivers for Christmas.

Will be loads of driving jobs via an agency to cover the Christmas period. If you don't have an LGV license then multi drop van driving it will probably be. Get a SatNav.

You don't always need your own van. Had a guy turn up only today with a parcel for next door in the back of an old Rover 400,was full up with parcels.
There was some ads in my local paper asking for anyone with a van or a car to do the same. Also some jobs with just a car required to drop off people out meter reading and canvassing and collect them. Of course the pay isn't great, but easy money just driving locally in your own car. There is an insurance implication to doing that though.
