I recently got a BMW 330ci, it's 8 years old so wear and tear expected, the drivers seat black leather side bolster nearest the door is worn. It has scuffs and wear not stains and i wondered if there are any treatments that would help restore it. A collegue suggested shoe polish but i'm not convinced, i don't want to end up with black stained shirts!

Got the same problem wiv me Saab Sportwagon - cream leather. Colour worn off the piping right on the edge by the door, and a tiny seperation of the cover from the piping about 2-3". On e-Bay, there are some repair kits at reasonable cost for when I get a Round Tuit - I'm sure there will be some on there for yours!

I got good results with Scuffmaster and Gliptone products on a similarly worn black seat recently.
Easy to apply and you can hardly tell where the repair was done.
Get the cleaner, dye and conditioner for about 30 quid all in

Back when I had an MR2 I used black shoe polish and it worked a treat. Apply and leave for a while then buff off. Never got an issue with stained shirts.
