If the Falcon is destroyed in the trailer thats film over for me.
agreed. if that car's getting done in again i'm not watching it.Must have been interesting to film, I didn't appreciate at first that the first dune jumps the camera, which then rises as the other vehicles drive around it.
I really don't care about the Falcon. I'd rather see some variation than watch the same 'hero' car fail to outrun pursuers for the duration of the film. Granted that's no sign that this film will be any good and I can't quite believe how much cash Warner Bros have put into this concept after so long, which concerns me if they think they've found a new Fast and furious cash cow. At the same time, Thunderdome was so awful, whatever this is, it can't bring the series down.

Literally can't remember being this excited about a film well except prometheus and that was pure disappointing. Tom Hardy does look good as Max sure he will never be as good as Mel but that's just something I have to accept.
I may actually queue to get in and watch this.
Oh and the Falcon IS Mad Max. It's a fking cinema icon. To me as iconic as Max himself. Thay said the final chase in Max 2 is awesome and does not feature it.

Pretty sure most of us have seen this, but for those who haven't, ' Mad Max the reunion '
Good to see Goose, Toecutter and Johnny the boy etc are still going strong.

Hugh Keays-Byrne (Toecutter) is playing Immortan Joe in Fury Road

Unfortunately there was no clear winner due to poor voter turnout and a stubborn refusal to apply any meaningful system of proportional representation. I can't remember their names, but i think one of them may be called roy something or other.
Must. Stop. Sleep-posting.honest_delboy said:
In Mad Max 2 he could engage/disengage the supercharger from inside the cabin with a switch on the dash. Surely you'd have it disengaged before turning the engine over to save wear and tear on the starter motor.
It was like that from the start. In reality, you'd never want to do that anyway, as the car would drive awfully 'off-boost'.honest_delboy said:

The switch was a red one he pulled up to engage the blower & it was fitted to the gearsitck./nerd
