Sold my first about 4 months ago, lost the affection for it following an electrical problem that took about three months to trace and rectify. Missed having one so this evening I have bought quite a rare rare car - Phase 2 V6 registered in 2004. Vela blue, tan leather, refurbished 17" Teledials, new tyres, FSH, recent cambelt / water pump and only 56k from new Can't wait to pick her up now

Ah, so your the lucky one who got in first with that car Spoke to the guy and I think he realised he'd under sold it. I'm also hoping to go back to a GTV V6, although my last one was 8 years ago now.

Congrats - I have had 2 in the last 8 years and am sure if I ever have enough garage space again I will get another as a weekend toy - finding a good one is the hardest part (and then there was the frozen locks in winter, ever-lit airbag warning light, windows never sealing quite right (leading to wind noise and the thing freezing solid on the inside during cold snaps, the temperamental petrol cap opening mechanism, wafer thin body work etc etc)...but slap in a Q2 diff, GTA flywheel and rev that engine and all is forgiven! Enjoy.

Already booked in for a nice custom stainless steel exhaust to release a little more of the noise that is just too subtle with the standard system

Had a Ragazzon on my second GTV which was great and not too loud.

Thats the sound I'm going to get them to replicate.
Found a highly recommended custom exhaust centre near me, they will build to my exact requirements and offer a lifetime guarantee and its going to cost circa £400

The vendor definitely undersold that car by at least a thousand pounds. Refreshing to see one without the aerokit too.

Picked the car up today - really pleasant transaction, car was exactly as described - not perfect but nothing a little bit of TLC with a Porter DA won't put right, door shuts immaculate, boot looks like its never been used, interior still looks and smells brand new.
Car drives superbly, massively better than my last V6, feels incredibly tight and taut whereas my previous one creaked and groaned - i'm confident I have bagged a good 'un
Seller showed me a receipt for £70+ petrol he put in it this morning, he had brimmed tank for me knowing I did not know the area and had a long journey home, said he'd appreciate me sending £50 via Paypal - nice gesture and saved me the hassle of finding a petrol station and also saved me some money

Hmmm Love the GTV, especially the sound of a ragazzoned v6. Black or tan leather, mk2 dashboard, in one of the blue or grey paints. I missed out on a couple of sweet GTVs before getting a GT, might be next on my list.

Because it summons up the spirits of dead film stars, who have nothing better to do than reply to people like me, now, back in your box. Oh by the way, your Porsche was crap in the corners.

Just wasted a couple of minutes looking at some of your posts - what a sad little man, every post I saw was insulting and derogatory - what a bundle of joy you must be to be around You post on this thread about something in no way connected with the topic and proceed to insult - pathetic

Bit of an update: Lots of cleaning, full paint correction, tidying up of engine bay, treating a couple of rust spots on the underside, oil and filter change List of jobs is getting shorter but a suspension overhaul with uprated spring and shocks is next I'll let the pictures show the results |http://thumbsnap.com/bFdXqHyN |http://thumbsnap.com/ezdM0XY2 |http://thumbsnap.com/2VGmjKYn |http://thumbsnap.com/BcdyHbLx |http://thumbsnap.com/6DpaIa6L
