I'm not having much luck, 1st the E55 AMG and just on a spirited drive towards Crewe a Bentley Continental GT (Brand new).

Gorgeous looking car and sounded nice too, so anyway he leathers it from about 60mph and then i leather it although i'm 5 or 6 car lengths behind to begin with as i was dordling at first i think hes pulling but i dont think he is things just seem to stay static
Think i was catching up towards 120-130 but cant be sure we let off at 145, so i'm unconvinced by the vette again what do i need to do.... start picking on Novas

Havent got many specs on the beast but www.supercars.net quote

550bhp
675ftlb
Paddle Shift 6 speed and 0-60 in 4.8

Try picking on someone your own size, preferably with less than 450bhp as you're at least 100bhp short and their torque figures make yours look like a Ford Escort. LOL. Hell, if I'd just spent £160,000 and was beaten by a C5, I'd be taking it back!

Merc E55 469bhp,516 torque, 60 in 4.6, 100 in 10.4
50-70:2.2 155mph
Conti GT 552bhp, 479 torque, 60 in 4.9, 100 in 11.8
50-70:2.6 196mph
Corvette (339bhp version, torque 356) 60 in 5.7(A)5.3 (M), 100 in 13.1 (A) and 11.9 (M) 50-70: 2.6 (A)

ALternatively you could try catching them under braking, they're heavy beasts and don't stop as well as the lighter Corvette.

Oooooof! With these high power cars speeds get very high very fast. I think it's best to remember the Vette is priced with Boxsters and the like rather than take on the big boys! And if you're going to take on a TVR then a damp surface tends to swing the balance of power in the direction of the Vette!
