Following quite a bit of car hunting for many things entirely different, due to PH I stumbled upon my LS430. Having been discussed a little bit over in one or more of the bargain barge threads, I've decided to start a thread here with a few pics (due to demand) and will put some more up soon when I get the chance.

The inside really is fabulous and pretty much every option is there; it really is the little things that make this car for me (although the big V8 is nice, its only noticeable when one wants it to be). For now I've got a few pics that show a few of them.

Naturally being a big car with a V8 doesn't help fuel consumption too much, which is emphasised by nearly all of my driving being urban and short journeys, however it doesn't seem to be too far off 20mpg which isn't too bad.

So far the only exterior shot; note auto folding mirrors and grille 'mounted' radar guided cruise control.

Hopefully more to follow.

There are the standard ones that adjust the position of the seat and the height of the headrest as well as those that control the climate and the stereo. There are also buttons controlling the massage system and probably a few more still. Underneath the armrest there are others including one that raises/drops the rear blind.

One of my favourites is the mini fridge behind the arm rest, shown open in one of the pics.

I'm fairly certain that a LS430 fitted with LPG will be my next car. Love my old LS400.

Great car, i miss my old one but finally sold it with just over 200k, it was a amazing motor. One of my favourite features was watching the front air vents automatically move left to right. Such a pointless but absolutely brilliant feature.
Do you have the higher spec levinson sound system?

I have a Levinson system. How will I know which spec?

The oscillating vents are fabulous! (As is keyless entry, soft close doors etc...) wink

If you're serious, this one wont be staying long.

I love this, though I may be more a fan of the LS400. It just looks a bit boxier to me.

They are actually surprisingly good to drive too. I really miss mine
The only issue i had was the boot space compared to the A8 was limited due partly to the fact that the rear seats are reclining, and also a huge big area taken up by the air purifier.
The headlights were great to as they turn when the steering turns.
Have you played with the parking feature yet?
I also found the rear camera had to be cleaned regularly especially in the winter as it got dirty very easily and quickly, but then again i was doing about a 1000 miles a week of motorway driving in mine over winter.
I got stuck in the snow in mine too and to be honest it was great, the road was blocked, so i climed into the back of the car, reclined the seats, turned on the massager, turned on the heated seats, closed my rear blinds and door blinds and just chilled out.

I was in one of these last night, it was being used as a taxi. It was running on lpg and I was so impressed with it. I was telling the driver how awesome it was to be in a decent taxi rather than a rattly old Mondeo or something. Although the V8 torque isn't great for your stomach after a shed load of ale.

Brimmed the LS for the first time last night. £110 point something equating to exactly 81 litres. Lets see how long it lasts and more importantly how many miles it gives me. First computer range display showed 311 miles which is about 17.5mpg...
