For anyone who is interested, 777 freighter (FedEx) will be coming into EDI Sunday with the two Pandas for the zoo on board. I'll post times once I know them.

As far as I can see, it's a clear case of black or white.

Are they the new model?

And do they have the Pandamonium pack?

Being in Scotland, they'll have to be deep fried.

Will be arriving this Sunday (4th) as FX9750 at 1259 and departing to CDG as FX9797 at 1547/05. Aircraft is N892FD and as previous will carry usual "panda" livery. Enjoy!

You're welcome. From what I understand it will taxi and stop half way down the disused runway 12/30 for panda offload and press etc then when that's over will start-up and taxi to the 30 threshold, do a 180 turn and park overnight there.

Think there has only been 1 777 before?

Yes, well they're quite an endangered species.

I think I might take a drive out to the airport on Sunday (just picked up a newish car so its a good excuse for a run) for a look as its not often you see something as big as a 777 coming in - I went along and saw Concorde's last visit and the A380 low pass and both were impressive - I suppose I can work out from my planefinder app which way it's coming in so I can park up either at the end of Turnhouse Rd or the car park at the show ground.
