I need a new PSU for my LG 32LC56 TV. Need a new LGLP32SLPV2.

Can't find a board that anywhere has in stock, they all show as out of stock.

Where on earth do I get one?

I had this trying to find one for my Samsung.

I just perceviered with Google searches until I finally found something similar, then rang the supplier with the part number for mine, and they got me one in a few weeks from Japan or wherever.

Maybe it would be easier to buy a repair kit, with new capacitors, and just remove and replace the failed capacitors, of which there are about 6-8.

how hard would this be?

Popped down to Maplins this morning, £5.10 later and it's all fixed.

The faulty capacitors were all suffering from capacitor plague.

Is it the classic PDP-PS-421S relay 'clicking' fault?

Did you get some high temperature (105 deg.) capacitors?

They will last a lot longer.

Man points !

2 days ago my trusty 50" samsung did exactly the same thing, its a 4 year old PS50Q97HDX.

i have done the same as you, replaced the bulging capacitors but also found some broken/dry joints on the components attached to the heat sinks.

I now have my tv back and don't have to shell out just before christmas biggrin

Yes, I did, did a straight replacement like for like UF values and voltage values.

Not that I know what the UF stands for!
