Little Gem and Round lettuce (British, naturally), tomato, and orange pepper with Thousand Island dressing topped with crispy onion. Pickled onions, beetroot and red cabbage on the side with some garlic-stuffed olives to finish. Served with the remains of yesterday's loaf, thickly buttered, and topped with the last 3/4 of a slice of corned beef, alongside some tortilla chips that had lost a fair bit of their 'crunch'. Washed down with a cold glass of lemon squash...
...and that was that. Done and dusted, with barely a need to wash up.
