Informal chat on electric cars?
Discussion
Afternoon all looking for a bit of guidance I've pretty much always worked for myself (car/motorcycle security/electrics) decided I wanted a change so had a year or so out & through a job type club met someone from interserve gave them my CV & left it at that had a few emails from them & they have asked me to go in & meet them "Please note it will be an informal chat. As you will be meeting with our Director for Energy we would like to hear your view on electronic cars and any experience/knowledge you have regards to energy savings."
I know nothing about electric cars (& my cv doesn't even imply I do) or energy saving (my daily car is a 5.7l....) obv I'd like to be as prepared as poss so exactly what is an informal chat & will they be expecting me to talk about all aspects of electric cars for hours??

I'd say the first thing would be to learn the difference between electric and electronic
There's a difference?? Crafty_ said:
From a very quick look around their site I wondered if they were trying to get in to the infrastructure side of things ? charging docks in public car parks / the workplace etc ?
I think they mean electric cars & they have made a simple typo as mr no it all engineer1 has made. I tend to agree with you from a look around their site I find it unlikely they would be making cars & even less unlikely they would be making electronic components so think I'll just have to wait & see...

I didn't make a typo, look into electric steering there is a move towards removing the steering column and having a steering wheel linked to sensors and a motor on the steering rack. It is described as electric as it is electrically connected rather than mechanically.
I think that one of the new Merc's already has it.Gassing Station | Jobs & Employment Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
