What a player he is. Got us out of the doo doo today with 4 goals, making it 17 in the league, 19 in all competitions and he has something like 6 goals for Scotland Under 21s aswell, so 25 goals and it is only december

His 4th goal today was sublime. Through on goal in the last minute needing to score to rescue a point. Does he just blast it and hope for the best? Does he hell, this is Jordan Rhodes we're talking about. He curls the ball with the outside of the boot in to the bottom corner.

He won't be messing about in league one for much longer and will be a Premiership player by this time next season. Our chairman has come out and said he won't be sold in January but I reckon he will be gone in the summer whether we go up or not (we won't if we don't do something about our woeful defence). But it will take atleast £5 million for us to even listen to offers

He's a player i'd like Norwich to go for, though he is ex-1p5wich. He fits Lamberts mould of young, skillfull and clinical. Aside from Holt and Morrison, we dont have much backup for the strikers. The question is gonna be how much? £4-5million? He's young, but for a player who's only really scored at league 1 level, I dont think you'll get much more.

p.s, thanks for Pilkington, hes been very good for us so far thumbup

I can't believe Pilkington has come back the same player from that shocking injury, his foot was literally hanging off, sickening to see.

Sell him on to Liverpool please so we get a nice sell on to boost our January transfer kitty

As a Scot I am VERY excited by this guy, I just hope he can make the inevitable step up that will come next season.

Seems like a really good player. Don't think Huddersfield will be able to hang onto him though.

As I said in the first post, he won't be a Town player come September 1st 2012. Can't see him going in January. Our chairman is a life long fan, is minted and saw what happened when we sold Marcus Stewart in the January when on course for the premiership.

It really would take a ridiculous offer for him to leave in January. However, as we did with Pilkington and Peltier, we won't stand in his way in the summer if the right offer comes in. Hopefully by then his goals have got us up and we're all winners.

The lad has got a massive future ahead of him

i work with Ipswich and Brentford fans and they were both gutted to see him leave their clubs. He's destined for the prem, and i think Huddersfield may have to bat away some offers in January for him.

laugh

He isn't going anywhere in January and even if he was, no offence, it wouldn't be to Southampton or anyone else in the Championship

Are you in a position to offer £6million+ for a player? Because that is the value of offer we will start listening to in the summer. Every premiership club are sending scouts to watch him so he could well have his pick of a few decent sides if they stump up the cash

Reckon he will attract at least £5m this window, there are some deperate clubs out there. Sure will test your guy's resolve. Personally I hope he stays and if he does then the Terriers will go up, as long as he stays fit. Mind you if he goes you still have plenty of firepower and £5-6M buys you a lot of striker for Div 1. Win win.....

We are the fifth richest club in the country so the money will never be an issue.
Do we want to spend £6 mill on an unproven top level player?
That, I think, will be the issue for every club looking at him.
