PCGB Silverstone Track Day July 28th?
Discussion
Anybody?
Got a letter reminding me of this crown jewel of a track day and just booked in.
Any other 8 valve Corrados attending?
The height of summer so a deluge guaranteed but at least copious quantities of premium rat and sugary fluid can be imbibed whilst certain conspiracies are confirmed or debunked.
Nothing beats the feeling of being absolutely emasculated by some octogenarian in a 750 bhp race car.
Better get some of that blue stuff in the brake lines though...

Wow. Coool. Will Autoclassica do the trackday of your choice? And, if you don't mind mentioning, how much wonga do they require for such a momentous favour?
I'm considering sharing such an event with a mate...

autoclassica have a variety of trackdays at the main circuits. i've booked 4 events, and am looking at doing brands hatch, goodwood and AN Other as yet undecided. They've got a errr 'deal' where essentially you buy three track days and get the fourth free... works out at about £3k for the four events or £1k if you don't 'bulk book'

Fair enough; looks like it'll me me and Merlin, the happy pig then!
DeR, I shall pop along as ballast my dear chap, should the diary permit. And should my technician, the MoT parlour and attendee-space permit, I shall bring along the good Baron and squander some hard-earned. Boyakasha.

I swore this year I *wouldn't* do Silverstone and instead spend the money on other circuits...
Now I'm tempted again...I got the reminder through too so they must be slightly short of attendees...
Bugger.
Come on, you tight fisted sod. I'll buy you lunch.
PS Dom - DeRs passenger seat is taken old chap. Theres plenty of minted people at PCGB trackdays, so the Artful Dodger will have his work cut out, IYKWIM.
Your Pearly chum,
