I thought the first episode was dull. I really find it difficult to empathise with Carrie, I just don't like her. I also don't dislike her enough to want it to go wrong for her. It's just a bit "meh" for me at the moment.
Same here. It's been deleted from the Sky planner..

Same here too - although I admit that I never finished watching the last few episodes of the last series.

Series 1 would have been held up as one of the best IF Brody had blown himself up and those in that room around him. (I do believe that in the real world, this is what would have happened)

Instead, we have Season 2 which turned into some kind of crap teenage angst mellow drama (In an adult-oriented show!), and I lost interest, so much so that I just gave up.

Gave the first episode of the latest series a go, but, for me, whatever it had in that first series, it has lost.

Watched the first episode of season 4 last night. Think my expectations were so low that I actually enjoyed it. As mentioned earlier the bit with the pilot having a go at Carrie was very odd.

However, the Quinn character seems to have a darker aura around him which helps to cancel out some of the Carrie flaws.

Overall id say it was a gritty opener and will watch the next one.

As ever, more Saul required. Quinn kept things interesting last season so hopefully that continues.

More Saul is always good. Love Mandy's acting.
I always think the, Better Call Saul thing refers to this character, and not the Breaking Bad thing. biggrin

When the Carrie character grates on me I am reminded of the Anne Hathaway spoof of her which gets me through the episode.

I thought it was really good. It's hard for series to carry on after the main protagonist has left but this has a good supporting cast which I think will fill the void left by Brody.

So .. in Ep2 did anyone else notice that her jeep changed halfway through the journey to Brodie's old house, from a Liberty to a Cherokee type? (jeeps aint my forte)

Or was it just me? wink

Remember that a lot of us in the UK won't see Ep2 until Sunday, can people wait until then before mentioning stuff that might or might not have happened smile

Agreed.

I have just caught up with ep3, and i think it is moving along nicely.

I don't think it was never intended to be an all action TV show, so i guess people may find some episodes a bit slow.

Im enjoying it though.

I do hate those mellow dramas. I prefer my dramas more lively.

Flynn bringing righteous justices to two sizest pieces of st did not make up for the tediousness of thingy washing the ginger kid.
Did the producers not read our request last week for less happy family stuff? hehe
Although...that was pretty a dark moment..
