After lusting after an Impreza for a good few years finally took plunge a few weeks back. Posted thread on here asking for advice and then got a message from fellow Pistonhead member dolomite16v555 who was selling his wagon. Several weeks and countless emails later the deal was done. Car has been remapped by Andy Forrest and has a few suspension upgrades. Wheels and brakes all just refurbished as well. Fair to say I'm chuffed to bits. Anyway, here she is

Nice. I just bought an estate, but sadly not an Impreza as the boot was not big enough frown

Aye, boot not the biggest. I fitted the towbar so I could get bike rack on back.

07 Forester STI Litchfield with AP Racing 6 pots up front and leather.

Been looking for the right car since last year and FINALLY found it. Loving it so far, but will be looking at handling upgrades in future to the tune of some uprated ARBs and anti-lift I think, to counter-act the slightly higher centre of gravity than I'm used to coming from a WRX wagon. smile

On which note... anyone looking for a wagon? Advert going up shortly. smile

Like that wink

(click the arrow symbol below right of the photo, then select 'BBcode' and the size you want - it used to be much simpler before they changed things)

PS nice car smile is that a 6-speed box in it?

I collected this on saturday, incredibly good fun and I just can't wait for some good weather! Bought this as a promo car (ahem toy) for my hydrographics business to experiment with. But I can't wait to get out and have some fun with it too!

My Subarus in chronological order. Still have the Forester, but the Outback H6 and Bug GX have both gone. My current Turbo 2000 wagon is my favourite.

How are you getting on with your wagon? Any issues? Rust etc?

Here's some recent pics of mine:

Still love it to bits after nearly 2 years ownership and lots of expense!

Of all the many Impreza's owned (and bar the two I have now wink ) the blue STi classic wagon was my favourite

Only upgrade I did was a larger rear arb. Compliant, reliable (after the bottom end rebuild) covered ground plenty fast enough and drove soo well

Part of me does hanker for an STi wagon (and an RB5 and a P1!) but I just feel too invested in my Turbo 2000 to start over on another classic. I will run mine as a daily for at least 3-4 more years I should think and will just pay for a rebuild (and/or more power!) if it needs it (I live 4 miles from a good specialist). It has an unbeatable breadth of capabilities for the money and has been very reliable for me *touch wood*. I keep telling myself it's good VFM in performance terms, no depreciation etc! hehe

Your wagon is identical to my wife`s, and it is only the 2nd one i have seen with that particular material in that colour on the seats and i presume on the door cards too, we attend many Subaru/Jap shows with either both our cars if fairly local(we run a Subaru club so the wagon carries all the gear for our stands) or in one or the other when a bit further afield and this is without doubt only the 2nd one with the same interior and body colour combination so im guessing this an unusual interior biggrin
