So what am I doing wrong?
Discussion
Hi everyone, newbie here needing help....
I just got a karcher pressure washer with the intention of making the car look sparklingly new but I get a better finish with a bucket and sponge. Rather disappoiting cos the PW is great fun.
I'm using a pre wash/karcher snow foam gun to start with containing Big Orange car wash, then rinse I down after a few minutes. Next is the karcher wash and wax applied with a brush. When I wash down and let it dry the car looks like I've just moved all the dirt around rather than cleaned it.
What do you guys use?
Cheers & TIA

If you want to clean the car properly, drop the mickey mouse foam attachment, and the wash & wax shampoo.
You will need to invest £40 in a real foam lance, and decent snow foam and shampoo.
Bilt Hamber does both, and Dodo Juice does very good shampoos too.
Both also do waxes and sealant to protect the paint.
Lack of shine, beyond dirt removal, is likely to be the use of the brush putting scratches in the paint, which dull the appearance.
Certain products can mask the damage, but only a good polishing will restore the gleaming shine.
