Hi
Quick techie question
I have a Full HD TV with built in Freeview. There is no recorder, if at some stage I decide I require a recorder would I be able to attach a freeview+recorder box to the TV? Would there be any conflicts by having effectively two freeview tuners, I am kinda guessing not as the aerial would plug into the freeview+recorder box and then the output would be a scart connection to the TV, but would appreciate input from those with greater knowledge of these things

AS you said, just connect via scart. Or get a Freeview HD PVR box and connect via HDMI to make the best of your HD ready TV.

Question to test your memory.

Did the extra tuner in a VCR conflict with the tuner in the TV?

Only very old sets without SCART used channel 0 for VCR. If possible these days alway use HDMI if available.

No such thing as scart to HDMI, scart is analogue hdmi is digital.
To connect old sky box you need a scart/scart lead, HD boxes require HDMI.

When you get the recorder, aerial to recorder, aerial output to input on TV. There should be no clash of signals. You can loose signal sometimes if recorder is unplugged from mains, some need to be plugged in on standby to pass signal.
