Any NHL fans on here? Only got into it about a year ago. I work for a canadian company, and the head of marketing is aunt to Steve Stamkos.

Steve plays for Tampa Bay Lightning, was the number 1 draft pick of his year and is currently leading the NHL this season in goals. I've been to a couple of Maple Leaf games and am now really getting into the sport.

Anyway, this just arrived a few days ago:

Steve's aunt got this signed for me as an early birthday present smile

Lucky git laugh

I do watch the NHL when games are at a 'sensible' time, such as midnight face off laugh But generally I find the time off putting as I struggle to keep to a sleep pattern frown

Premier sports (sky channel 433) have the NHL feed this year - I think it's around £10 per month

£7.50 for premier sports or £70/year watching Edmonton Vancouver at the moment. Very good value as have plenty of hockey on, the other night they had 3 live matches followed by a replay of another which clashed.
It's said not to be a hd feed which nearly put me off but it is one of the clearest SD feeds I have ever seen.
Not regretting the decision to get it one bit, all star game this weekend as well don't forget.

Believe there is an official online service from the nhl site, might be worth a look if your internet is quick enough and you don't mind watching on computer/ are able to get the feed to a tv.
Never used it myself but have heard good things, there plenty of info about it on the cage forum.

I saw that, I think it's only for America?

Will see what happens for the 2012/13 Season.. I know of a group on FB who are trying to get ESPN to take it back on, or Virgin to take on Premier Sports.

Yep, Shea Weber has finally beaten Chara for the most powerful shot.
