That price for Luiz really is a complete joke. Megged for both the Suarez goals.

As for the Premier League not being the best, that point keeps getting repeated as though it's some controversial opinion. It's been said a thousand times, I don't think anybody thinks the Premier League's top four could really compete with the likes of Barca, Madrid (arguably both Madrid teams), Bayern... some other teams could be mentioned too possibly.

Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern are in a class of their own from anybody at the moment.

The Premier League. There are teams outside the top four. A lot of those 16 teams can easily (on their day) beat those inside the top four. That's why it's a good contender for best league. There are probably better teams outside of the Prem that would destroy our top four though.

Thanks for that Dr Condescending. I only mentioned the top four because the other 16 teams aren't going to meet other European teams are they? This discussion usually comes up when an English team is dumped out of the Champions League.

So what's the point discussing how West Ham would fare against Malaga?

Well I for one am certainly interested in a potential matchup between the Hammers and Los Boquerones, it would be an interesting clash of managerial styles and formations.

Football isn't remotely crooked or mad:

Looking forward to a landslide election victory for Rosie, on the back of some extraordinarily successful economic policies winksmile.

I'm just glad we've avoided the massive circle jerk the media would have been enacting had Liverpool reached the final

Which game is everyone watching?

Got to be Bayern vs Porto for me, might turn out to be pretty disappointing though with Porto using Chelsea tactics.

Not quite Chelsea tactics then, Porto are being destroyed. 3-0 and not even half an hour played.

Bayern is the one to watch. A masterclass indeed.
