Mini Insurance

Evening All,

I've been getting a few insurance quotes this evening, I am 19 with 0 NCB. The policy would be in my mums name (she has 5 years NCB) with me as the main driver.

Here are the quotes of each car, Each quote is from compare the market.

61 Plate Mini One Hatchback 1.6- £2400.48, 8000 miles per year, £500 excess

No quotes for either an (S) or a JCW which I would imagine!!

As Mini drivers would you recommend buying one as a first car? They seem rather cool cars in my opinion!

If you did not have a Mini which other car in they price range would you be driving, any recommendations for me?

It depends what you wont. My wife is quite happy with her one and with a good spec is not a bad car. There are so many options it is worth working out what you want AC Sun roof 17" wheels etc. The copper is a bit quicker and apart form ins the runing costs are about the same.

Alos have you looked at the web comparison sites to get ins. prices? Worth a go.
