We are planning to go to the Spa Classic this year and maybe stop over for a few days. My question is this, can you recommend any decent driving roads and/or places to visit in Belgium? maybe northern Germany too?

Hi Trev,

As a starter for 10, have a look at this site, it is in Dutch but I reckon you can figure it out.
http://gpstracks.nl/ov-motor-belgie.php
I've given the link for Belgium, but if you go to the button at the top called "Auto&Motorroutes", you will see drop down links for various countries, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France etc
I am sure some other will be along to give their input.

as for places to visit, would a brewery trip in the Ardennes fit the bill ? feel free to drop me a PM

I hope the Brewery Trip includes the private one at Bellevaux?

Thoroughly recommended! They also have b&b facilities,if you over do the tasting. Back to the topic, try the back road route to Nurburgring,Stavelot through to Kelburg, excellent surface virtually all the way.

The back route to Nurburgring sounds tempting. Would the Monday after Spa be a good day to try the Ring? do you need to pre-buy tickets? That would be the Monday 28th May.

Sorry for this being late! Monday morning would be perfect, ring laps are,I think, around 24Euro per lap.[Blame Lindner for that!!]
