'English or welsh or northern irish' didn't fit into the option which would have been more accurate so British had to do. Of course some people born in Scotland might think of themselves as British rather than Scottish.....

The North of England has some beautiful scenery, some interesting people and great coastline. Scotland has the Scots. Enough said ?I'm English and had the misfortune to live in Scotland for 6 years when my family moved there in the 80's. Dreadful, wet, windy place, always cold, miserable people who genuinely hated the English. Forget racism involving Black or Asian people, try being English living in a village in Scotland, having taken a job away from a Scot (!) . . . Even my teachers at school despised the English, told the Scots farmers sons that it was OK to bully me . . . they saw it as a valid protest against the English.
So Scotland can offski as soon as it pleases, taking their f*ing miserable attitude and racist nature with them along with their share of the national debt and start paying for their own social services.

So you base an entire nation on a few folk and you call us racist I'm English and had the misfortune to live in Scotland for 6 years when my family moved there in the 80's. Interestingly, prior to living there we all liked Scotland and had no strong feelings either way about the Scots. It was only the opportunity to live there for 6 years which enabled us to form the opinions we did whinging f

plenty of similar examples from people on the other thread... yet thinfourth2 claims every single one is an isolated case, should be ignored and then hurls some abuse. Had we not lived there I'd probably still be thinking the Scots were a great bunch of people and wouldn't it be nice to live there !(Obviously there are some Scots who are not ignorant, racist c*nts !)

I love the english they are the most tolerant and wonderful society on earth
I really do think that we in scotland could take some lessons from you

I Am a very proud Scot. I'm a very proud to be part of the UK too. Its high time all this brave heart pish (freedom!!!) was put to bed. We are stronger together as a union and a far stronger country. Do i love every English Person i have met ? NO, but i have met some total ass hole Scots too in my time.
